STUDY IN NEW ZEALAND

New Zealand is known for its high-quality education and is a sought-after destination among international students. Normally, courses which is longer than three months, most likely require a NZ student visa. Applicants must have an offer of a place in an approved course with an education provider in New Zealand that meets policy requirements and be exempted from or have paid course fees. All applicants must also meet health and character requirements.

A New Zealand Student visa entitles the student to be in the country for the duration of their course. If the course is longer than a year, they may be eligible to apply to work part-time for 20 hours a week.

General Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications for Undergraduate Program:

  • Secondary School Diploma equivalent or GCSE or GCE advanced level, Cambridge IGCSE or Grade 12 level or 12 years of education with good academic standing.
  • On an average 65% -70% or higher is required by various Universities.
  • IELTS/TOEFL/PTE for non-native English speakers

Minimum Qualifications for Masters Program:

  • Please note that Masters program and Ph.D. programs are very limited and are subject to strict admission guidelines, academic excellence, and other requirements. This varies between institutions.
  • Usually for master’s programs a minimum of 75% or higher marks are required in their undergraduate degree and application procedures must be started 8-12 months ahead of time.
